I am a licensed cosmetologist & instructor. I graduated from Claflin University with a degree in Elementary Education & worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield of SC for 14 years. Prior to leaving the company, I decided to follow my passion & go back to school attending Empire Beauty School in October 2011. Upon graduation in September 2013, I worked in a natural hair salon in Rock Hill, SC until I opened Studio 1Six in November 2020. In 2022, I also created my own hair & beard care line, Royal Tapestry 7:5.
I specialize in natural hair, micro & traditional locs & makeup services. I also offer a unique experience with one-on-one classes & group makeup services.
